It was my pleasure to present my commissioned portrait of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark to her Majesty at Gråsten Palace. It was a private meeting with the Queen (therefore no photographs of the event) We had lovely conversation after Her Majesty had unwrapped the portrait.

I looked through your works and must say they are very attractive and inspiring. I mean there’s a something within each which evokes emotions. No matter whether it is a complexity or simplicity put into there they are really airy and breathe. I have several works of the near type you call “silhouette” painting. It amazes me how they start to reveal on paper and when I see them finally appear I do have the feeling for them : ) You love your job, it is seen.
