Here’s a overview of my most recent paintings.
It’s been a long time coming! So proud to finally share a few pics of my new hand crafted jewellery line. All pieces are unique – one of a kind. All hand painted with my Silhouette trademark. The cabochons have been hand colour blended and formed by me. Set in beautiful antique silver on brass. […]
It was my pleasure to present my commissioned portrait of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark to her Majesty at Gråsten Palace. It was a private meeting with the Queen (therefore no photographs of the event) We had lovely conversation after Her Majesty had unwrapped the portrait.
Cute little watercolours

I find myself using red or rose with blue a lot. It’s just a really compelling color scheme. The expressions are interesting, too.

Hi Chemire, thanks for stopping by. Yes, blue and pink make an interesting composition. I also think brown and blue works well too.

You are correct! Brown and blue tend to work well because most browns are actually to some degree a form of “dark orange” and of course I doubt I need to tell you your basic complementary colors but a lot of people don’t realize the orange-ness of brown at first. Color is really cool, honestly. Playing with color drives a lot of my painting. It seems to be important to you too to judge by your work I’ve seen so far. 🙂 Good luck and keep going!
