It was my pleasure to present my commissioned portrait of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark to her Majesty at Gråsten Palace. It was a private meeting with the Queen (therefore no photographs of the event) We had lovely conversation after Her Majesty had unwrapped the portrait.

As an ignorant male lover and painter of women, I’ve found that women judge each other and relate that to themselves. This can be critical but also admiration. I wouldn’t say they ‘hate’ each other. It’s wonderful that women care about how they look; it makes the world go round.
