It was my pleasure to present my commissioned portrait of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark to her Majesty at Gråsten Palace. It was a private meeting with the Queen (therefore no photographs of the event) We had lovely conversation after Her Majesty had unwrapped the portrait.
Cute little watercolours

AH, very interesting. How did you know how to do this??? I did a drawing of a cat lapping at water, both in oil pastels and in colored pencils but I had to actually sketch the frozen watery effect. I never heard of using salt with water colors to achieve such an impressive look. Very nice!

Hi pamela, you just sprinkle the salt onto the wet paint and let it dry. After that you can brush it right off. It gives a cool effect! You can use both flake salt and regular salt. Thank you for commenting 🙂
