It was my pleasure to present my commissioned portrait of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark to her Majesty at Gråsten Palace. It was a private meeting with the Queen (therefore no photographs of the event) We had lovely conversation after Her Majesty had unwrapped the portrait.

I love orange. I LOVE orange. I esp love orange with complimentary (hmm worried about the spelling here…? do I use i or e?) — blues, so you got me with this lovely portrait. I just love it.

Orange is vibrant. It’s hot, healthy, fruity and engaging – but it can be abrasive and crass. It’s a polarizing color. People either love it or detest it.
It is often associated with depth and stability.
