I live in an old Danish farm house built in 1862 in the south Jutland countryside. This door is in the oldest part of the house. I doubt it goes back as far as 1862, but it is quite old. I decided to give it a facelift by decorating it in traditional Nordic rosemaling style. I worked freehand without using a pattern, so the design isn’t symmetrical at all. But then again it kinda fits to this beloved old wonky home of ours!
