It was my pleasure to present my commissioned portrait of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark to her Majesty at Gråsten Palace. It was a private meeting with the Queen (therefore no photographs of the event) We had lovely conversation after Her Majesty had unwrapped the portrait.

Katherine, this is quite lovely…the lines of her gown seem to take on a life of their own in an almost abstract way, or perhaps just a touch of the surreal – directing the eye toward her profile – but each of these two pieces are equally balanced! Just wonderful.
