Art Deco Headboard
Today I completed this art deco painting which will be a headboard over a bed in our home. I am a huge admirer of artist Tamara de Lempicka. Those familiar with her work will see a resemblance to one of her paintings in this piece. I will give it a high gloss varnish tomorrow and will hopefully have the time to paint a Versace inspired frame for it too.

Coming home
My classical oil painting of a woman and scarves had been loaned out for a while. I painted this a couple of years ago. It was good to finally welcome her back home! She now resides over the living room!

Happy November!
I love November! Autumn with all of its magnificent colours is here and winter is fast approaching. As I write this, I have a huge pot of home made chicken soup gently simmering on the stove, a burning fire in the hearth, music playing and a painting to work on in the studio. Could it be more perfect? A good Sunday to all and a happy November!
