An exciting and exhausting day. I finished this large painting for a solo exhibition next year. My husband took this photo, I apologize for looking scruffy and tired!

Capturing the light in this Bristol Blue
What an enjoyable little painting this was to paint! I loved working with these blue hues to create the illusion of light captured in this bottle. I am from Bristol, so there is a natural fondness for the beautiful and famous Bristol Blue Glass

She’s been framed!
Be Still…
When the world gets too loud, I take refuge in my paintings.
Coming home
My classical oil painting of a woman and scarves had been loaned out for a while. I painted this a couple of years ago. It was good to finally welcome her back home! She now resides over the living room!
Purple Rain in Watercolour
Every time I get my watercolours out I remember just how much I love painting with them! This little piece on paper was intended as a sketch for a larger oil painting. But I think it is a little finished piece in its own right, so I’ll be framing it ready for the gallery in the coming days.
Have a lovely weekend everyone. Until next time, Katherine x
