The Two Men

I painted this classical painting of these two men specifically to hang over this antique Spanish sideboard. They are reaching down out of the painting towards the empty greek platter. A couple of rustic candelabras finish of this simple but effective scene. (Taken from my Pinterest board Art from my home)

Saint Dorothy (under the stairs)

The past few days I have been working on this classical portrait of Saint Dorothy which is an interpretation of  the painting by Francisco de Zurbarán. I wanted a very classical look for this piece with striking colours as she will be going under the stairs in my home, where it is a little dark. I think she lights up this dark little corner nicely.
