As a fun project in my home I am painting this portrait of an Italian Gentleman for our library. He will be mounted onto the painted ultra marine door when complete. Here’s a few pics of my progress so far. I promise to share more pics from this room when it is all done!
My classical oil painting of a woman and scarves had been loaned out for a while. I painted this a couple of years ago. It was good to finally welcome her back home! She now resides over the living room!
I love working with as few colours as possible to create such unassuming drama as this reflective girl under the pink rainy sky. #spiritualmoment
