Harmonies of peace

I have always been a little shy about my poetry despite having had a couple of books published here in Denmark where some of my poetry featured my uncertainty prevails.  I guess I see myself more as a painter rather than a writer. Anyway, perhaps it is time to be a little brave and share a few of my poems here? Here’s the first one called ‘SOUL’ which was originally published in ‘Malerier og Poesi’

Going through my archives and I found this acrylic and oil painting from and sold several years ago. I had forgotten all about it. On seeing it I was reminded of something Tupac Shakur said:

“I know it seems hard sometimes but remember one thing. Through every dark night, there’s a bright day after that. So no matter how hard it get, stick your chest out, keep ya head up…. and handle it.” ― Tupac Shakur

It just seemed to fit.
